Hi there! Hard to believe we are almost at the end of October, isn't it?
Marilyn here and today I have a card made with one of the newly released sets called The Gift of Joy.
I don't know if this is a boy angel or a girl angel but to me, it looks like a boy so from this point forward, I'm going to call it a 'him' or a 'he' but either way, it's a shaker card with an angel on it! I began by printing one of the Watercolor Natural digital papers and cut the oval by using both oval dies from the Tiny Vine Oval set. I did the same with white cardstock so I could have the scalloped edge on the outside.
The sentiment and music notes were stamped directly onto the white card base and the angel stamped, cut out and then colored using Copic markers with some Stickles added to the wings for some sparkle.
To assemble, clear acetate was glued to the back of the card front and double sided foam tape added to the back around the oval and outer edges. After adding shaker bits gems and sequins, the front was attached to the card base, the white oval adhered to the front and the angel attached with foam dots.
