Hello & happy Wednesday! This is Tangii and I'm back with another Winter/Christmas in July card! I am using both of the Snow Family Fun digital sets and the Snow Family Fun digital paper pack, along with this month's Sketch-EZ #101 challenge!
I printed out 3 of the papers from the Snow Family Fun paper pack. Two of the papers (the trees and the snowy sky) I printed at about 5" x 5" each, the third I printed about 3" x 3", just large enough for that oval die. The larger pieces I cut out with one of the dies from the Double Dial 2. The sky paper I trimmed just 1 side to fit inside my card. The front of my card base I cut on the diagonal (upper left to lower right), then added the die cut tree paper and trimmed to fit. Now I have the diagonal from the sketch!
I am a HUGE sketch challenge fan, and I really like tweaking them just a smidge! So instead of anchoring my Snow Family to a circle panel (like in the middle of the sketch) I let the Family be my shape, it lets those digi-papers behind still show really well! After sizing my family to fit on the oval die from the Loving Petals Square die set, I printed and cut them out. One of the great things about digital images is that they are size-able!!!! I cut each out separately so I could stack my layers. Once colored I adhered them either directly to the front or with foam tape.
Now all that was left to do was to add my sentiment! Once again I sized it (because I forgot to print it to begin with, lol) and printed it. Then die cut and adhered with foam tape! Voila! It might seem like alot, but really it's mostly because I talked alot, lol. It really did come together fairly quickly. That's all I've got for you today, thanks for popping by! Hope you have a wonderful rest of your week.
