Hey everyone, DT Angela back with another card featuring another image from Togas and Bubbles. Anytime my neices and nephews would bring out bubbles as they grew up I must admit I could not help but get giddy and play with them too! Something about them bringing me back to my childhood!
.
I created a Slimline card to feature this cute little girl blowing bubbles. I cut 2 pieces of cardstock- the Fuschia layer was cut at 7 3/4" by 3 1/4". The Purple layer was cut at 7 1/2" by 3". I inked both layers with Ranger Archival Ink in Jet Black.
Next I cut a piece of pattern paper from my stash at 2 3/4" - since it was a 6" piece it wasn't going to be long enough so I cut it apart at about 2/3 and spaced them evenly on each side- and then I layered a circle from the Aztec Sunshine Die over the gap- and after inking all of the pattern paper I adhered everything together.
I added some bubble embellishments I found while looking for some buttons. I used some Art Glitter Glue to adhere around the right of the card. I can just imagine them flying through the air.
I stamped my little girl on Copic Xpress It Cardstock and cut with my Scan N Cut. Next I colored with Copics:
Skin: E00, E11, E21, R20
Hair: V04, V05, V06, V09
Dress, bow and shoes: RV02, RV04, RV06, White Gel Pen
Bubbles: BG10, BG000
Lastly, I stamped my sentiment on white cardstock and cut into a strip. I then hand cut a banner and added to the left of the card - which balanced the card out.
I hope you enjoyed this card today!
See you soon, until next time my friends-
Let your creativity take flight,
Angela
