DT Melanie back with you today for a cute little card I designed playing with layers and color!!!
I was on vacation when I colored these adorable turtle and flower stamps from the Turtle-licious stamp set by TLC Designs. I was in the LAX airport on the to Hawaii so what better stamps to be coloring that this precious little turtle, I even colored the lily pad that comes with the set. Soooooo adorable!
For this card I have used the Watercolor Natural Digital Papers in 3 coordinating shades along with the Daisy Frame Dies to create this layered colorful card. The die set also allowed me to create the fun shaped card as well.
Lastly the tiny little flower die is from the Apple a Day Die Set. It was just a fun little accent and provided a fun little accent to the card.
Here is a close up of my card. I have colored the stamped images with Prisma pencils and have hand cut them out. Lastly I used a sentiment stamp from the EZ Salutations stamp set. I simply stamped it and fussy cut it out then added it to a black card stock and fussy cut it again to help it stand out.
