Hey crafty friends! It's Amanda from @CaveWitchCrafts. I'm here on the blog today with another fun challenge for you all! This time we want to see your projects inspired by BIRTHDAYS! It can be a birthday card, invitations, decorations, tags, bags, or even gifts! Nothing is off the table! The card I'm sharing with you all today was inspired by the animated movie TROLLS. Poppy and Branch are here to give the birthday person a big hug and a cute gift tag to match the scene!

Each challenge starts on the 15th of every month and ends on the 14th of the following month. To qualify to win, you must use at least one product from the TLCDesigns Shop. If you do not have any TLC Designs products yet, no worries, there are some adorable freebies available at the shop as well!

To make this scene, I started by stamping and printing my images out from stamp sets; Toga's And Bubbles, Troll Cricket Fun, Outdoor Friends, and Alicorn Happiness. I colored my images using markers from my stash, then fussy cut them out using my scissors.

I used the New Zinnia Slimline Die to cut out two of the outline panels on white cardstock. On one of the panels, I used the Land and Sea Dies to cut out mushrooms. I inked the top of the other panel with a light blue ink to create the sky. Then, I inked the mushroom panel using greens. I tried to keep the green ink away from the mushroom tops. Then I went back and colored the mushroom tops with a purple marker.

Using the smallest slider cutout from the NEW Slimline Multi Slider dies, I cut out two holes in the mushroom panel. This is where my characters will be attached to the scene.

I glued down my colored images, apart from the characters, to the mushroom panel, making sure to leave glue off of any overhanging images. I added double-sided foam tape to the back of the mushrooms, leaving room for the moving mechanism. The characters were added to the scene using paper tabs and a slider disc.

Now I can use the pull tab to move Poppy and Branch towards each other for a hug. A bonus to this card is that they also DANCE! The pull tabs can also move up and down to create even more motion!! The pull tab was cut out from the Slimline Multi Slider Die on green paper from the Perfectly Precious Paper Pack and white cardstock. I glued the tabs together to ensure more stability.

Next, I pulled the tape backing off and attached the mushroom panel to the sky before adhering it to the card base.

I cut out the Aztec Sunshine Circle, both the inside and outside, on white cardstock. I also cut them out on some patterned paper from the Perfectly Precious Paper Pack. I adhered the matching pieces together to make sure the tag would be durable. I used the inner circle die to cut out a strip of scrap paper from the Perfectly Precious Paper Pack. I adhered the scrap piece to the inner circle using my tape runner. Then I glued the inner circle to the outer circle. With liquid glue, I added sentiment and colored images to the tag. Lastly, I added a ribbon through one of the holes of the Aztec Sunshine Die! All it needs now is the recipient's name, and it's ready for the party!
