Hello and happy Sunday! Marj here with a special card that makes me happy. I am such a huge fan of coloring flowers. I'm so excited to finally color this beautiful image and I'm glad TLC Designs has a variety of digital images. This card features the Happy Bouquet Digital Flower Stamp and this image is just beautiful.
To start with, I printed my image to a white cardstock 110 lb using my Canon printer TS5320. This printer is my go-to printer for now until I get my new printer. But this printer really works well even for watercolor papers.
Using my Arteza Ever Blend Ultra Markers, I started coloring the image. I chose a combination of greens for the leaves, some blues, and pinks for the flowers. I'm in love with this image as it is super easy and beautiful to color with. After that, I fussy cut it and just leaving a small white border all around it.
Next, using my Spellbinders Die Cutting Machine, I die cut a white piece of cardstock using the See You In The Center Die. Using the largest die on the set, I die cut another piece on Emerald Fall Paper Pack as my border.
To assemble the card, I took the Yellow Orange Cardstock from You Are My Sunshine Paper Pack and scored it on 4.25 inches top fold landscape. Next, using a strong glue, I adhered the die cuts on top of the card base. Then, added some double sided tape to the back of the image and placed it on the right side. After that, I stamped the sentiment from Sweetie the Dragon to the left side. To finish it off, I added some sequins for some added dimension. And the card is done!
