Hello and welcome. My name is Kinjal and I will be sharing a fun shaker card with a new digital stamp release and combining it with another older stamp set.
I usually like to play around with my digital images before I begin the card. I combined the pumpkins and bats in two separate rows, playing with the sizes and placement. This way I have a border of each that I can cut down. I applied Spiced Marmalade and Crackling campfire using a brush over the pumpkins. I used Black Soot for the bats.
Both the girls are from the new EZ-sketch bundle and are also a part of the new release called Say Boo and Scary on. Since they are in sitting positions, I took the wooden stump from the Forest Pals stamp set and the wooden log from Outdoor Friends stamp set to place them over. Frankie-Pie is from the Creeping It Real Digital stamp set. I colored all the images with polychromos pencils.
Now comes the background. I smooshed DO Twisted Citron, Seedless Preserves, and Aged Mahogany on a plastic mat and sprayed some water. Before smooshing the card base, I tore it into three parts. I left the middle piece out and went ahead with the two pieces as seen on the card. After it dried completely, I sprinkled some water and let that dry too. I used the Snowy and Evergreen Stencil edge and Fired Brick ink, I made some pebbled images in the background.
Now comes the assembly. Using an A2 card front base, I adhered to the acetate sheet on the open part. Before gluing it down, I also stuck a few pieces of the sequins with glue. As you can see the edges are open. To manage that, I added foam strips behind each of the girls to the maximum corner so that the shaker pieces wouldn't fall out from the sides.
Lastly, I added the sentiment Too Cute To Spook and inked it with Twisted Citron and Pine Needles. I used a white jelly pen over all the images.
I love a great shaker card and this was such fun to make!
