Hello crafty friends! It's DT Amanda here from @CaveWitchCrafts. Today, I'm sharing my last June TLC Designs Challenge color board-inspired card. To create this card, I started by stamping and printing my images from sets Outdoor Friends Digital Stamps, Dreamer, Celebrate Sentiments, Alicorn Happiness, and Toga's and Bubbles. Next, I colored the images using an assortment of markers. I gave the colored images accents with a white gel pen before cutting them out with scissors.
To make my background, I cut out a 5X7 panel on white cardstock. Then, I cut out the oval from the Aviary Oval Die set. I also used the inner oval from the Aviary Oval Die set to cut out the inner ring of dots.
On the 5X7 panel, I inked my background using blending brushes and Distress Oxides. Afterward, I used some water and white paint to splatter the inked panel with stars.
After the paint was dry, I started to assemble the scene. I added all of the images I wanted behind the oval, first, using liquid glue. Then, I adhered the oval to the card face using a tape runner. I added the remaining images to the scene using more liquid glue.
The sentiments were added on last using scrappy tape and double-sided foam tape. The card face was then attached to a card blank, leaving a white border around the scene.
