Zinnia Slimline Shaped Card

Hello crafty friends. Today I have a slimline card made with the Zinnia Slimline Die Set, Something Bloomed Paper Pack, Celebrate Stamp Set, and Loving Petals Square Die Set. I started by cutting the panels for the shaped card with the two largest dies in the Zinnia Slimline Die Set. To give the panels a distressed look, I used Distress Ink in Antique Linen to darken the cardstock pieces. To create the flowers in the corners, I used Heartfelt Creations Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper.  I inked them with Distress Inks to create pink and purple flowers and green leaves. Using...

Rosie Sentiment 3D Floral Card

Hello, crafty friends. This is Shannon Lee Smith with TLC Designs. Today I have a card with 3D flowers made from the Rosie Sentiment Die Set. First, I cut the card front layers from white, pink and a floral pattern from the Something Bloomed paper pack. I glue them all together with acrylic matte medium. To create the flower, I start by cutting one of each of the 3 sizes of the flower petals for each blossom I want to create. A total of (6) for the front of this card.  I cut them out of Susan’s Garden Specialty Cardstock...

Alicorn Happiness

Hello friends of TLC Designs.  Shannon here with another handmade card tutorial. Today I'm sharing a card with the Alicorn Happiness Stamp Set and the Zinnia Slimline Die Set. I start out by stamping my images onto Bristol Smooth cardstock.  It’s important to use Bristol Smooth cardstock because I colored my images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers.  When you use the Bristol Smooth cardstock, you won’t get the pilling that you would if you used another type of cardstock.  Bristol Smooth is a type of cardstock that is sold by several brands.  I did no-line coloring on the butterflies...

See You In The Center Interactive Card

Hello my crafty friends. My name is Shannon and I’m so happy to be here with you on the TLC Designs blog. I hope you’re able to spend time in your happy place today.   Today’s card is made with images from the Gnome Celebrations stamp set and the See You In The Center die set, both from TLC Designs. I started by stamping the images with an ink that is compatible with alcohol markers since I will be coloring with my Ohuhu markers, onto smooth white cardstock. After coloring the images, I sent them through my Brother Scan N...

Gnorman For All Digi Stamp Card

Hello, crafty people.  Shannon here with another blog post for TLC Designs. I’ve created a card using the Gnorman For All Digi Stamp. I’ve also used a star from the Sketch Challenge #115 digi set and stripe shapes I created in Microsoft Word. I’m absolutely in love with creating cards with digital stamps. I start by pasting Gnorman, from the Gnorman For All Digi Stamp Set, into Microsoft Word.  I print the image onto 100# Hammermill cardstock.  I color it using Ohuhu Markers, then cut it out with my Brother Scan N Cut machine.  All of the colors I use...
